The Olympus 50-200 is a professional telephoto zoom lens that takes high quality pictures. It has very sharp optical performance. It gives superb performance at any focal length and aperture. Its sharpest aperture is f/4. Although this is normal for any zoom lens, this particular lens has a slight distortion at 500mm. Distortion becomes very minimum at 100mm and 150mm and it can be ignored. On Olympus 50-200, chromatic aberration can be ignored since it is well controlled. Also, vignetting is well controlled at 50mm and 100mm but apparent at 100mm, 150mm and 200mm focal length.
