Co-Founder/Co-Editor-in-Chief: Jonathan R. Chan

Jonathan R. Chan is a professional writer living in NYC. His life-long commitment to writing spawned from grade school dinosaur adventures, daily written jokes, to horror stories told via cold-callings to whoever would listen.

A semblance of order (College), brought out more creativity and focus, enabling Jonathan with the help of a dedicated group of artists, to form the Theater Arts Group of Rutgers UniversityWith another group of talented artists, he

co-founded the Asian-American-Actors Conference. With their combined support, Jonathan wrote, produced, directed, and acted in his own stageplays that ranged in such themes of paranoia and blackmail ("Bad Karma. Bad, Bad Karma") to the Asian-American experience ("Asian Me").

After college, Jonathan ventured far and away to his parents' homeland: the Philippines in dual mission to find his roots and creative callings. His years abroad produced contributions to numerous broadsheets and periodicals, including the likes of FHM Philippines, FHM Singapore, Manila Standard, Cosmopolitan Philippines, among others.  With a group of creative individuals, Jonathan co-founded www.planetgimmick.com, which gave a party person's view of the nightlife in Metro-Manila, Philippines.

Marketing and Events Director-  GG Gonzalez

Born in Harlem, raised 6 months in Queens, 8 years in Antipolo Rizal, Philippines and then grew up in Northern New Jersey.

Avid world traveller and cultural immersion, GG has been branded by her own father as “ a jack of all trades.” Which she proudly accepts is true.

Her work experience ranges from former receptionist to a doctor at 12 years old to TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) trainer in India, China and Mexico.

GG is always open to trying something new and is absolutely passionate and focused on the goals she sets.

Acting and being born a “performer” is GG’s destiny. She fulfilled her childhood calling the year 2000. Earning a substantial salary, excellent benefits, stocks and bonds, she gave it all up to follow a path of performing. It’s been in her blood since the Philippines. At age 6, she watched a teenage pair dancing for the locals at a neighbor’s house, and that sparked her drive to “entertain.”

Having natural dancing ability, she danced in front of neighborhood crowds every weekend until her final trip back to the U.S. at the age of 8.

She studied stage performance in Action Theater Conservatory in Clifton, New Jersey. Here is where her motivation and skills were honed. For Action Theater she performed in NYC at the Pulse Ensemble Theater. Then, various tv and feature films.

Indies are GG’s specialties. She brings dedication and skill in each of her roles. And she has such a broad range. For example, in “The Dick Anderson Squad” she portrayed the strong wife of the first black police officer in Philadelphia. “Excellent piece because of my character’s importance and challenges as a light skinned wife of a cop.”

The role of “Rosa” in the indie “Receptionist Smart” was the most challenging and the best character yet. GG naturally has a humorous flair and a bubbly personality, tying that with “Rosa’s” Latina accent and attitude brought GG to a new level as a broad performer.

GG sets the standard of sexiness with sophistication for future Asian actresses. Her professionalism and drive allow her amazing roles that most Asians wouldn’t be considered for. She says, “I always go with my heart, and have been blessed for opportunities that KNOCKED on my door. If I didn’t listen to my inner voice, I wouldn’t have had the creative ability, I would just be a puppet. And I wasn’t given my experiences for nothing. If you want something done, YOU’VE got to do it YOURSELF.”
