Luis: You have created so much troubled and crazy but funny characters like Trixie and the funny giggley Chipmunk Chick....How much time do you spend planning for your videos?

Morbeck: I usually watch a bunch of videos to get inspired. Then when I come up with an idea it usually takes me 3 to 5 hours to finish a video.


Luis: I know you say in your videos that you don't have a crew yet, but do you write a script?

Morbeck: When two characters are interacting, I write a script so I don’t get lost but usually I just improvise.

Luis: Did you really have Director's Block that one time?

Morbeck: Yes I did and still feel a little like that now, LOL!

Luis: Who are your (own) favorite characters and why?

Morbeck: I like Trixie Love because she is fun, confident and down to earth.

Luis: You have been a youtube veteran with 148 videos and being banned then accepted back in? How was that experience? Can you talk about it at all? ( Its alright if you can't...)

Morbeck: It was harsh getting banned. I was very upset specially because there was no reason. It was just a lemon for Christ’s sake. but I’m glad everything got reinstated.

Luis: Who is your audience... I know you have like 8559 subscribers....can you describe them? Why do you think you have a lot of fans?

Morbeck: Mmmm its hard to describe my audience. I think most of them are women, gays, and teenage girls who admire how much I can portray their personalities so well.

Luis: Do you communicate with your fans?

Morbeck: I answer most of the messages I get and I used to go live on stickam.com to speak to them.


Luis: I know you communicate with some famous youtubers like Renetto? How is he like as a friend?

Morbeck: I have talked to him on the phone once, he seems to be a cool guy but I don;t know him on a personal level.

Luis: Who is your favorite youtuber and why?

Morbeck: My favorite youtuber is LisaNova. I think she makes the best videos because she knows exactly how to poke fun at people without being rude and she has a great personality.

Luis: How do you promote yourself on youtube?

Morbeck: I don’t. I usually just post a bulletin when I have a new video.

Luis: For us who are starting in youtube, from a veteran like you have 144 videos and lots of subscribers, how do you achieve youtube superstardom?

Morbeck: Try to make videos that you would enjoy watching yourself. If you make a 10 minute blog talking about how bad of a day you had - not that many people are gonna want to watch you. If you keep the video between 2 and 3 minutes and try to bring some humor into it, chances are people are gonna want to see more.

Luis: If you were to produce your own Hollywood movie, what role would you make yourself play? Who would you cast as your costars?

Morbeck: I would like to play a drag queen and the costars could be mmm Winona Ryder, Naomi Watts and Eminem LOL!

Luis: Do you still get excited when you see your view hits increase everyday?

Morbeck: Yes, whenever I get more than a 100 comments on a video I get excited and I read all of them over and over.

Luis: What type of camera do you use now and what software do you use for editing?

Morbeck: I have a mini DV panasonic and for editing I use pinnacle studio.

Luis: What to you is youtube and why?

Morbeck: Youtube is freedom of expression at its best

Luis: Are you going to put up another contest coming soon?

Morbeck: Probably

Morbeck: I never know whats coming....
