Dexter, the latest TV show from Showtime….it is uber, uber exciting…every five minutes something fascinating happens that moves the story forward. Dexter ( Michael C Hall ) gives life and so much likeability to the Forensics world. A Forensics expert who knows everything about serial killers and blood. Working in the Miami area, he has a bunch of, thank God, played by ethnically diverse fellow Forensics experts that eat drink and talk “how to solve a murder case.” But Dexter has the answer to it all because he is a Killer himself… Hmmm intriguing isn’t it! How is that possible? That is why you should watch this TV series, it is curiously a Murder Mystery slash Super Hero slash Human story… did I use the word slash or slasher… ooops did I say Slasher…yes you will see a lot of that too….

The show has a plot good enough for a feature film. All acting are excellent especially Dexter, played by Michael C Hall, who you will find to be funny, witty, sexy but full of mystery. Did I say his character is so likeable… hard to explain but it is up to you to watch and see… Some performances to watch for are: Lauren Velez who plays Lt. Maria Laguerta, she is the boss, she plays a flirtatious relationship with Dexter but she is still tough and plays an alpha female. Of course there is Jennifer Carpenter, who plays angst filled ingénue - Beat Cop, Debra. Jennifer plays Debra with such frenetic energy but comes out sexy and intriguing.

All in all Dexter IS A MUST SEE, it is action packed, great ensemble acting, witty, sexy and definitely worth your one hour on a Sunday evening…. Watch for the first episode on Sunday October 1, 2006 at 10PM only on Showtime.
